All of our dermatologists are Board-Certified, which means they have completed specialized training, and then passed a rigorous, comprehensive test given by the American Board of Dermatology. Even though some physicians may treat skin disorders themselves, there are only 8,500 Board-certified dermatologists practicing in the United States. Since your skin is the largest and most visible of your body's organs, you owe it to yourself and to your family to have it treated by someone who specializes in protecting it.

Continuing Medical Education

Our dermatologists are committed to bringing you the highest quality care for your skin. We participate in local, state, and national dermatology conferences on a regular basis, and are constantly renewing and refreshing our knowledge of diseases. This means that the patient is getting the best and most up-to-date treatments whether their condition is a common one, like acne, or more complicated and rare. We are involved with the teaching of medical students from the area's medical schools, and frequently give lectures (locally and nationally) on various topics in dermatology to other physicians as well as to the general public. A few times a year our dermatologists take part in health fairs sponsored by local organizations (usually schools and hospitals) and perform free "skin screenings."
