Dr. Daniel Yanes is a medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatologist practicing in Watertown, MA. He is dedicated to providing excellent, compassionate care to patients of all ages and is a believer in providing personalized care and treatment plans based on each patient’s unique concerns and needs.

Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Yanes graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University and went on to The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class summa cum laude. He completed his residency in the prestigious Harvard Combined Dermatology Program, training with world‐renowned leaders in dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Boston Children’s Hospital. While at Harvard, Dr. Yanes received extensive training in laser surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and procedural dermatology, training where many of the devices used today were invented, including Fraxel, laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, and more.

He is the author of several textbook chapters on topics such as male aesthetics, soft tissue augmentation with filler, and lasers, and has authored numerous peer‐reviewed scientific publications in the field of medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Yanes serves on nationwide committees as an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the International Peeling Society.
