What is medical grade skin care?

Medical-grade skin care products, also known as cosmeceuticals, contain active ingredients that have been clinically proven to have a positive effect on skin. What are the side effects of Botox injections?

Botox is widely used for both cosmetic and medical reasons and is usually very well tolerated. Some of the most common side effects of cosmetic Botox include minor pain, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, headache, eyelid drooping and/or double vision, facial asymmetry, and rare allergic reactions. Do you sell skincare products at the APDerm offices?

Yes, we sell various skincare products at out APDerm offices. Each office has their own stock of what products their patients like best. Please note Winchester and Chelmsford (Courthouse Lane) are not carrying products in office at this time. Click here to shop our products online!

Are there any fees associated with a cosmetic consultation?

Most cosmetic consultations with our Clinicians require a fee upfront. However, if the cosmetic treatment is then scheduled within 60 days of the initial consultation, a portion (and in some cases, all of) the fee can be applied to the service you are receiving. Do all cosmetic treatments require a consultation?

All cosmetic services require a consultation prior to scheduling the treatment or procedure. In some instances, the office may be able to perform the cosmetic treatment the day of the consultation, however this varies by office, clinician, and availability.
