About Sean Doherty
Sean Doherty, MD, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing at the Boston Center for Plastic Surgery at the Boston and Chestnut Hill locations. He has been voted one of Boston’s Top Plastic Surgeons by Boston Magazine and Castle Connolly, providing exceptional care and safe and extraordinary outcomes for his patients.
Dr. Doherty grew up in Dedham MA, where he gradutated from Dedham High School. After attending Columbia University, he went to Tufts School of Medicine in Boston and completed his General Surgery Training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and his Plastics training at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
Dr. Sean Doherty serves as the Assistant Medical Director for Cynosure-Lutronic, a global provider of energy-based medical aesthetic treatment systems, based in Westford, Ma. He was a Speaker, Trainer, and Peer Educator for Allergan, Inc. as well as Galderma and now serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Allergan.
Dr. Doherty is currently accepting new patient consultation appointments for surgical and non-surgical treatment.
Dr. Doherty is on the list of recipients for America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2025. He is recognized for breast augmentation as well as liposuction.
