About Laura K. Archibald
Dr. Laura K. Archibald is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and dermatologist who brings a depth of expertise in skin cancer treatment and reconstructive surgery to APDerm. She is dual board-certified in Mohs surgery and dermatology. She completed her Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where she also served as Chief Resident during her dermatology residency. She has received multiple accolades for her academic and research contributions, including the Robert J. Sias Award for Excellence in Research and Teaching.
Dr. Archibald earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Archibald holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan where she graduated with the highest distinction.
Dr. Archibald's clinical interests include skin cancer surgery and reconstruction after skin cancer removal. She is passionate about providing outstanding care for patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Archibald enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her husband and son.
