About Moira Quinn

Moira Quinn, DCNP, FNP-C is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner and a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Working across a variety of roles and settings, she has 18 years of experience in the medical field. Her career has spanned diverse settings, including large academic hospitals, private practice, and world-renowned specialty clinics, where she has participated in clinical trials and honed her expertise in dermatological care.

Moira earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Simmons College of Nursing, where her interest in dermatology was solidified during her clinical rotation in the dermatology department of Beth Israel Lahey Health. She began her dermatology career and gained specialized experience at the prestigious Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital. She gained additional medical dermatology experience in the dermatology department at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where she worked on a range of complex cases alongside some of the country's most renowned dermatologists. While at UMass Medical Center, she also had the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, worked in a specialized vitiligo clinic, and presented cases at Grand Rounds.

Moira's commitment to advancing the field of dermatology extends beyond direct patient care. She has dedicated nearly two decades to epidemiological research, contributing to a deeper understanding of diseases and their impact on populations. Moira stays current on the latest trends and treatments in the field by regularly attending dermatology conferences and closely following developments in the current literature.

With a focus on a holistic, patient-centered approach, Moira is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized dermatological care. Her evidenced-based approach to care is one of research, empathy and transparent conversation.
