
About Neil Desai
Neil began his academic journey at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2015. Following graduation, he pursued his EMT certification and worked as a Medical Assistant at Central Dermatology Center in Chapel Hill, NC. There, he gained hands-on clinical experience and developed a strong foundation in dermatology—experience that helped shape his path toward becoming a Physician Assistant.
He went on to earn his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Boston University in 2021. Shortly after, Neil joined the team at GK Dermatology, where he continues to build on his passion for dermatology. He enjoys the diverse and dynamic nature of the field and the opportunity to treat a wide range of skin conditions.
Neil provides comprehensive care including skin cancer screenings, treatment of inflammatory skin diseases, and procedural and surgical dermatologic services. He is a proud member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Neil actively participates in continuing medical education through SDPA programs to stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
He considers it a privilege to care for patients and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based dermatologic care with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.
