I was a patient of AP Derm for probably close to a decade at the Concord location and always had a great experience with the doctors there really trying to help with the acne that was bothering me in my teens and twentiesThis was my first experience in the Chelmsford office and it felt like the Doctor brushed off concerns. I wanted to look at trying Retin A or prescription Adapolene as OTC level does not do anything or even look at trying out some or the oral medication I had taken with success before (Doxi or Minocycline.)The doctor brushed off my concerns as just cosmetic (isn’t all acne concerns as such). This was something he didn’t want to deal with and if I wanted to try the Westford office they maybe able to help with lasers. He would do a test freeze so I could see those results, which is why I give 3 stars, but I had to really push for that and if I wanted anymore work it would be $100 dollars per small area. He then came back updating that to $150.As someone who used to come to AP for years with AP having removed pre cancerous spots on my back before it was surprising that I wasn’t even asked about that from the Doctor. It had only been 5 years since my last visit as I had moved. Nothing. I would not see Dr Rosenblaum again. I was being pushed out the door before I could even express my concerns. In and out in 5 minutes or so.I received more information from a google search.
The one positive is that the support staff at APD are courteous and professional. So I'll give two stars. However, Dr. Rosenbaum negates that feeling with a brusqueness that, if you (as a patient) were not used to sticking up for yourself, you would feel ignored and treated like you were simply the next warm body on the dermatology factory production line. I came in with two separate ailments to be examined. He didn’t ask in depth about my knowledge or history of the ailments, and instead, Dr. Rosenbaum was incredulous to my personal diagnosis and ordered biopsies instead. When I expressed a personal concern with them being performed, he curtly responded, “I don’t know what that means. Do you want the biopsy or not?” What I actually want is to be treated with respect, despite whether you know I have a scientific background or not (which shouldn’t matter anyway). And the result of the biopsies? Exactly what I told him they were.
Very professional and polite associates and staffDr Rose an icon in his fieldPA Seth very helpful and professionalReceptionist very nice and politeExtremely pleased with my visit!!!
The first visit, some ok. Mr Rosebom (or whatever last name is) a little quick and some rough. Hear me about, scratch my nail (for pathology) and says: "go make some labs and I upon receiving the results, I will make the prescription. On the visit today, I told hi. what happened, he just saw my hand and say on a rough manner: you don't have anything there. I just see a dry spot. Is normal with fungus". He was very unrespectful, very rough and with out any patient care sense.
On time or early, extremely great caring knowledgable staff. The Doctor him self was exelent very helpful and clear with all diagnoses and questions I had and clear about what needs to be done befor the next visit and advice on how to help my skin problem. Thank you!
