I went there and the staff was friendly and polite. The doctor was the same way. He was nice when he examined me and he answered all my questions about the new medication that I will taking. He recommended that I use skyrizi and thanks to him recommending it only been 9 months since I started using the skyrizi and that medication made my plaque psoriasis has gone and stayed away
I have never posted a review on google before but I felt compelled as I have also never left a doctors office in tears. Today was my first appointment at AP derm. I had an appointment with Dr Rosenbaum. At the front desk the agent assisting me informed me that there would be a $60 co pay despite my health insurance listing them as a tier 1 $30 copay facility. The front desk agent asked me the very standard covid questions and then asked for my name and proceeded to ask me all of the same covid questions within the same minute! I chalked that up to it being early in the morning. I was taken in by the sweetest nurse and the only saving grace I had this morning. Dr Rosenbaum was quick to come in. Very brief and short. He seemed to have better things to do than to treat his patients. I was being treated for a wart on my wrist. It was reoccurring so I was trying a new facility. He said in so many words you have three options- 1. do nothing, 2.nova cane scrape scar and the wart might come back, or 3. freeze. Nothing guaranteed. He gave me a second to pick. I picked freezing. He froze a quarter size area around the wart which I’m sure is going to blister immensely. As he was finishing freezing I tried asking him about some tinea on my chest and a spot on my leg but I couldn’t even finish my sentence before he stopped me and said I’d need to come back and get in a gown. I just paid a copay and missed work for this appointment and he couldn’t even listen to me for one second about my very common skin troubles. He was almost angry that I would even ask. My the time I got to the front to check out I was so upset I couldn’t hold back my tears. The front desk agent never even bothered to ask me if I was okay. I will never return to this facility. It appears to me that Dr Rosenbaum needs to retire. His misery was palpable.
Hard to get an appointment with a dermatologist. Won’t know how good Dr Rosenbaum is until I see if treatment works. I was disappointed with his bedside manner. Rushed me right out and seemed annoyed.
Came in for a mole removal. The place looks very clean and professional. Staff seams knowledgeable and professional. Overall was a very pleasant experience. Would recommend.
Dr. Rosenbaum is very impersonal and seems as though his patient is an inconvenience. Doesn’t answer questions, just hands you papers and points. Hopefully other doctors within APderm locations value their patients better
I have had Dr Rosenbaum as my dermatologist for 7+ years and have found his attention to detail and willingness to explain what he finds above average. His staff are always friendly and courteous.
I was a patient of AP Derm for probably close to a decade at the Concord location and always had a great experience with the doctors there really trying to help with the acne that was bothering me in my teens and twentiesThis was my first experience in the Chelmsford office and it felt like the Doctor brushed off concerns. I wanted to look at trying Retin A or prescription Adapolene as OTC level does not do anything or even look at trying out some or the oral medication I had taken with success before (Doxi or Minocycline.)The doctor brushed off my concerns as just cosmetic (isn’t all acne concerns as such). This was something he didn’t want to deal with and if I wanted to try the Westford office they maybe able to help with lasers. He would do a test freeze so I could see those results, which is why I give 3 stars, but I had to really push for that and if I wanted anymore work it would be $100 dollars per small area. He then came back updating that to $150.As someone who used to come to AP for years with AP having removed pre cancerous spots on my back before it was surprising that I wasn’t even asked about that from the Doctor. It had only been 5 years since my last visit as I had moved. Nothing. I would not see Dr Rosenblaum again. I was being pushed out the door before I could even express my concerns. In and out in 5 minutes or so.I received more information from a google search.
The one positive is that the support staff at APD are courteous and professional. So I'll give two stars. However, Dr. Rosenbaum negates that feeling with a brusqueness that, if you (as a patient) were not used to sticking up for yourself, you would feel ignored and treated like you were simply the next warm body on the dermatology factory production line. I came in with two separate ailments to be examined. He didn’t ask in depth about my knowledge or history of the ailments, and instead, Dr. Rosenbaum was incredulous to my personal diagnosis and ordered biopsies instead. When I expressed a personal concern with them being performed, he curtly responded, “I don’t know what that means. Do you want the biopsy or not?” What I actually want is to be treated with respect, despite whether you know I have a scientific background or not (which shouldn’t matter anyway). And the result of the biopsies? Exactly what I told him they were.
Very professional and polite associates and staffDr Rose an icon in his fieldPA Seth very helpful and professionalReceptionist very nice and politeExtremely pleased with my visit!!!
The first visit, some ok. Mr Rosebom (or whatever last name is) a little quick and some rough. Hear me about, scratch my nail (for pathology) and says: "go make some labs and I upon receiving the results, I will make the prescription. On the visit today, I told hi. what happened, he just saw my hand and say on a rough manner: you don't have anything there. I just see a dry spot. Is normal with fungus". He was very unrespectful, very rough and with out any patient care sense.
On time or early, extremely great caring knowledgable staff. The Doctor him self was exelent very helpful and clear with all diagnoses and questions I had and clear about what needs to be done befor the next visit and advice on how to help my skin problem. Thank you!
