About Amanda Auerbach, MD
Dr. Auerbach joined APDerm in August of 2019 and she practices in both our Boston and Watertown, MA locations. She graduated from Colby College with a bachelor of the arts degree in Biology and Art and received her medical degree from University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Auerbach completed a medical internship at Tufts University, Caritas Carney Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital. From there, she held a dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts, UMass Memorial Hospital where she served as chief resident and also completed a procedural dermatology fellowship at UMass Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Auerbach practiced as a general and procedural dermatologist. She has a particular interest in the prevention and treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Auerbach specializes in Mohs surgery to remove and reconstruct areas affected by skin cancer. Additionally, she performs cosmetic procedures, including Botox®, filler, peels and laser.
Dr. Auerbach enjoys traveling, cooking and spending her free time with her husband and two young children.
