About Sina Foroutanjazi

Dr. Sina Foroutanjazi is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, he immigrated to the United States and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, graduating summa cum laude with honors and distinction in both Chemistry and Biology. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine with Research Honors through the Research Concentration Program. Dr. Foroutanjazi completed his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and is currently completing his dermatology residency at UMass Chan School of Medicine, where he also serves as Chief Resident for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Throughout his training, Dr. Foroutanjazi has been deeply involved in academic research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in dermatology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and transplantation medicine. He completed a research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital focused on face and soft tissue transplantation and has contributed to research advancing surgical outcomes and patient care. His clinical interests include surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, and academic medicine.

Dr. Foroutanjazi believes in building strong relationships with his patients through education, collaboration, and individualized care. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy skin while ensuring they feel heard, informed, and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Foroutanjazi has practiced Taekwondo since childhood and holds a 4th-degree black belt through the World Taekwondo Federation. He also enjoys skiing, swimming, traveling to new cities, reading poetry, and watching movies. In addition to his clinical and research work, he has a passion for medical humanities and poetry.
