About Troy Demasters
Troy Demasters is a seasoned Physician Assistant and proud U.S. Navy veteran with more than 25 years
of surgical and clinical experience. Over the course of his career, he has practiced in some of the nation’s
leading medical centers, including the Mayo Clinic and Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and has
served patients in specialties ranging from general and trauma surgery to urology, bariatrics, oncology,
vascular, orthopedics, and plastic surgery.
Highly skilled in minimally invasive, robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques, Troy brings a
broad depth of expertise to both inpatient and outpatient care. With over 25 years of dermatological
surgical experience treating benign and cancerous skin conditions, his clinical background includes
complex surgical assistance, skin lesion removal, wound and abscess management, and advanced
plastic-surgery–level wound closure and suturing. Patients and colleagues alike value his steady
presence, surgical precision, and compassionate approach to care.
Troy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), holds
medical licenses in Massachusetts and Maine, and maintains advanced training in ACLS, ATLS, and
emergency medicine. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Boise State University and his B.S. in Physician
Assistant Studies from Idaho State University.
