I can't give any specifics except to say staff was very pleasant. Didn't realize visit with doctor was 15 minutes so a bit disappointed not more time with her. I need a few more visits to review properly since this was my 1st visit with this doctor.
Hands down the worst dermatologist visit I have ever had. The Doctor (Dr. Schwarz) spent a total of 4 minutes with me, barely looked at my skin condition, and acted impatient and inconvenienced when I had questions. I got in the car and made a new appointment at a different practice. Incredibly disappointing experience. The only positive is she saw me on time. Save your time and look elsewhere.
Had a minor procedure done. Took a small spot off mr right leg. In an out in no time. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Liou and his staff. Outstanding customer service!!!!
Don't Go! Don't Go! Don't Go! Because they charge you 5 times more than others but provide below average service. The doctor here didn't help me at all, he didn't find anything course my allergy, no suggestions how to prevent things happen again, no explanation for what he did!! and he ask me to do patch test without discloure to me the true cost, which is $1560 for PATCH Test , and the average cost is $60-$300. they charge you 5 times more. after I done patch test, some spots still remain active, it's itchey & redness and rough skin last till now(amost 1 month later), also he didn't gave me any suggestions about how to live with the after test uncomfortable. The whole diagnos is resultless, I feel like my case is his biggest career chllenge. Also, the billing department is lying about the number, the $1560 amount is the number my insurance company made, but actually it's not, it's the amount they claimed to my insurance company, why you are lying, the whole experience is horrible and unacceptible . If you go you may get nothing but dissapointment like me.
Usually they schedule you for few months apart. Then they will look at you for five mins and prescribe you for some useless medicine for over 200 bucks. Waste of time and money. They won’t even ask questions about you symptoms.
Did not send the prescriptions they said they'd write. Had to call after hours to ask them to send again. Then they sent one but not the other. Needs to have better organization in their prescription process.
I was a patient for 23 years. This practice is a train wreck. I was happy with the care I got after moving to Lexington-Waltham dermatology where I both worked with better doctors and a better-organized office.
Dr. Haas and her staff are very professional, personal, courteous and knowledgeable. They practice strict safety and cleanliness practices in their office. I have been a patient of Dr. Haas for approximate 20 years. I trust her immensely.
I went here because this was the only place that had an appointment available. Since I live about 45 minutes away I typically did virtual telemedicine appointments. I met with the doctor virtually once a month to check progress on my medication. He always seemed very uninterested and Barely even looked at me. The appointments usually lasted about 3 minutes which is completely absurd for the price I was paying. Whether I tried to pick up a prescription, schedule bloodwork or schedule an appointment it was chaos each time. I was being told 5 different things by 5 different people and it often required me to personally step in the remedy the issues. Doctors and staff would tell me one thing and the pharmacy would say another. This sometimes caused pauses in my medication which could possibly jeopardize its overall effectiveness. This is on top of a large pause I had to take because of issues with the government program associated with the medication. Overall, a truly an infuriating experience. I couldn't wait to be done with my medication so I could stop dealing with the incompetence.
Dr Yanes is the best! I was having skin rash issues due to psoriasis. My PCP did not correctly identify the rash and her prescribed treatment was not working (she thought it was yeast/ringworm infection.) I knew I needed to see a specialist. I had gone to SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill but had a bad experience there, and they were also unable to treat the rash. I was looking for a new dermatologist who could help me resolve my issue. Dr Yanes took the time to answer all of my questions, and told me what my treatment options were. Dr Yanes very knowledgeable and he prescribed me something that actually made my psoriasis symptoms dissipate. He also told me he wanted to try a cream on my skin first to see if the symptoms would go away, and if that didn't work then he would take a skin sample. He wanted to wait to take the skin sample because it would leave a scar. He explained that he had seen an increase in patients with autoimmune condition flare ups after they had the COVID vaccine. Interestingly enough, my flare ups started in March 2021 immediately after I received my vaccine shots! My symptoms literally lasted nonstop until May 2022, which is when I saw Dr Yanes and he prescribe me a steroid cream to make my psoriasis symptoms go away. I have literally been suffering for over a year and now I am practically symptom free! Thank you Dr Yanes! Highly recommend this practice!!!
Not totally diagnosed. After consulting with another clinic, I was told to have three conditions going on, and not just one. I finally got the right diagnosis and was treated accordingly. Very poor presentation for light therapy by another person at AD…..machine seemed to be in a sort of “storage room”! Felt humiliated to say the least!I’m sorry to say that I liken Dermatology Associates to a disorganized outfit that doesn’t give a hoot about patients.
This is being added in January of 2022. Since Dr. Grassi and Dr. Haas retired, this practice has become an impersonal practice with incompetent staff and doctors who don't return phone calls. I am done with them.I’ve been a patient of Dr.Grassi for many years. As usual, she was pleasant, listened well, and provided a sensible diagnosis and treatment. I’m a retired nurse and have high standards for my medical care and think that Dr. Grassi is an excellent doctor. The gentleman who brought me into the exam room was professional and easy to talk to. However, the woman at the front desk who checked me out wasn’t rude, but wasn’t especially pleasant. That’s never been the case with others in the past though, so maybe she’s just not a friendly person. Overall, an excellent experience.
I use to see Dr Haas. When she retired this corporation took over. I went for a medical matter. The secretary will ask you in front of all other patients in the waiting room what is your appointment for, and in detail ( HIPPA violation) The Dr was very nice but you will not be told that procedures done are coded twice with different names and you end up with a huge bill not covered by insurance . I’m going back to the Rockoff Center in Brookline. Ps: my chief complaint never got resolved.
My daughter and I had previously seen Dr. Haas, who was great, at the office in Watertown. When we both needed to make a dermatologist appointment, I went back to what we knew and was conveniently located, even though Dr. Haas is no longer with the practice. Before booking the appointment, I double checked with our insurance to make sure our appointments were with a doctor that Tufts covered. When making the appointment on-line, there was a pre-filled drop-down menu for health insurance, which included a choice for "TUFTS HEALTH PUBLIC PLANS INC - TOGETHER." (pic attached.) I felt pretty sure I'd done enough to make sure that we were using a provider w/in our insurance network.Cut to today when we arrived for our appointments, and I was flatly told that they do not accept our insurance (Tufts Health Together) or ANY health plans bought via the health connector, including Tufts Health Together. However I was welcome to pay out of pocket, but they couldn't tell me how much it would cost. The front desk staff was neither helpful nor sympathetic. My daughter and I left w/out seeing a doctor, and incredibly frustrated by the whole interaction. I double checked on the tufts website, were Dr. James Liou is STILL listed as being in network for us. When calling Tufts Health Plan, I was told that sometimes providers stop working with an insurance carrier, but do not have themselves removed from the "find a doctor" database. But why have Tufts Health Together listed as an insurance option on the APDerm website?I prepaid my daughter's estimated copay when checking in on-line and filling out our COVID screenings. When I called to make sure the copay would be reimbursed, the customer service rep mentioned that APDerm and Associates in Dermatology, despite being managed by the same umbrella org (APDerm) take different insurances, and maybe we were actually covered for Associates in Dermatology. Why the front desk staff couldn't have figured this out when I was standing in front of them at the Associates in Dermatology office, I have no idea, but that would have involved actually being helpful. In closing, avoid this practice and do what you can to make single payer healthcare an option for all!Addendum: I spoke with the practice manager for this office today. She was apologetic for how the front desk handled the situation and confirmed I was given bad information by the front desk staff re: insurance plans bought on the Connector in general, and my insurance plan in particular. I appreciate that she did in fact follow up.
Worked with Dr. Schwarz for a few months - she is a great doctor. Very effective and excellent bedside manner. Always took her time to listen to me, and offered an effective treatment plan. If you're looking for someone effective and empathetic, look no further!

Wish I could leave 0 stars! This was once a wonderful office with accommodating office staff and skilled providers such as Dr. Haas. Look at how reviews have plummeted since being taken over by Adult & Pediatric Dermatology, PC. The patient care, scheduling, and billing assistance has deteriorated. Patients are now just numbers and the personal level of care is gone! So sorry to see that the Dr's sold the practice and then left, obviously unhappy with how things were being run. I highly recommend you go elsewhere!
I wish I had read the reviews before booking the appointment based off ease of booking. On the day of the appointment I received a message asking if I could come earlier (mind you only 30 minutes notice for the nee apt) Because it was a late afternoon appointment on a Friday, I rescheduled my day to accommodate them and came in earlier so that maybe they could leave earlier. I shouldn’t have bothered to be considerate because they did not show any consideration for me.I received a call fifteen mins prior to 2 asking if I was in the parking lot. I said no and that I’m actually in traffic and won’t arrive till 2:12. They told me that would be fine. Based on the attitude of the receptionist, i was left with a bad feeling about going. I should have followed my gut not to go, because when I arrived at 2:15, both receptionists couldn’t be bothered, didn’t smile, and definitely were not accommodating. She went to check if the doctor would still see me and returned 5 minutes later saying since it’s now 20 minutes past I need to reschedule. They should have just did that from the beginning rather than waste my time. Additionally, they wanted to schedule me with a different doctor for the rescheduled appt as if I was no longer welcome with the original doctor “for being late”I will go elsewhere and you should too, unless of course you are a miserable, unfriendly person yourself you’ll fit right in
Couldn't recommend against this place enough. I went in for a10 minute procedure to have cherry spot removed in February. Because of COVID they implemented a new text appointment service that includes paying for office visit fees up front on your phone.Paid that, then had to reschedule my appointment because I was in a car accident the morning of. The text system made me pay the $40 fee again up front. On the day of the appointment, after a process that took 10 minutes including getting stitched and bandaged up, I was sent to the front desk to pay the office visit fee again.I was given instructions on how to care for the suture and told to call back if I encountered any problems. The first time I went to change the bandage that day I discovered that the stitch was just sitting loose underneath and wasn't even tied off. Calling the office did no good because it had closed hours before the first time I was told to change the bandage.Had to wait overnight with a bleeding hole in my face that I sealed up on my own with waterproof bandages. Called again in the morning and was told that I couldn't be seen because the doctor that had done the procedure was on vacation now and it was against their office policy for the other doctors (3 sharing a single location) to see each others' patients.Had to schedule a visit at an emergency clinic and pay for that separately, only to be told it was too late and it couldn't be reclosed - I would just have to let it heal naturally and hope it didn't scar. Several hours later I get a call on my mobile from the original doctor who just called to tell me that he didn't do anything wrong and that he didn't even think I needed the stitch in the first place, that he just gave it to me and the care instructions for no reason, so actually everything was completely fine and I shouldn't worry. Sounds completely plausible. Not.Cut to a month later when I receive a bill for $134, which was for...you guessed it, the office visit (which I had already paid 3 times) and pathology, because without telling me, they sent a tiny fleck of skin and capillary for biopsy and charged me for it. Apparently cherry spots are suddenly very concerning. Not that I would even know, because I wasn't informed they were doing this (probably included in tiny semi-transparent gray text in a form somewhere) and I was never contacted again with the results of said biopsy.Jump to now, I have received ANOTHER bill that is marked as overdue for an additional $164. Despite never having received this bill before, it is somehow overdue. This bill has the WRONG doctor's name on it as the provider and is claiming to be a separate charge for the procedure itself. Attempting to call the number on the bill is pointless, as the person I spoke with clearly had no interest in anything I had to say and then transferred me to voicemail system.Horrid experience from start to finish.
I'm very prone to skin cancer and have been seeing Dr. Haas for probably more than 20 years. She has kept me safe, stopping many precancerous growths and cutting out about half a dozen small cancers before they got dangerous. She's wonderful and so is the whole office.
Have been seeing Doctor Haas for many years. She's great. The office is very organized. Plenty of parking. Everyone in the office is nice and helpful. Even though I've moved way out to the burbs, I still prefer to stay with this practice. It's been great for me all these years.
I came to refill prescription. Check in was quick, even happen some error message in the process. The receptionist quickly resolved issue. My doctor A. Haas was attantive, recommend other way of treatment in addition to main prescribed items. I knew that I able to get help when my eczema attack me again. Thank you.
I’ve been going to Associates in Dermatology for many years. Always greeted by their pleasant staff. Dr Haas has always been amazing (even though I’ve stumped her a few times)! I wouldn’t go anywhere else
Dr Haas is focused, experienced and has expertly diagnosed our skin problems. Her location, particularly during the pandemic,is excellent. Her team is efficient & supportive.
It’s been a while (2 years?) since I’ve seen Dr. Haas. As usual, she was very thorough in her examination. Since I’ve been seeing her for many years, it was great to catch up with her. Overall the clinic’s protocols are excellent and I felt very safe and well cared for.
I’ve been using Associates in Dermatology for years. Dr. Haas is amazing. She is thorough and I fully trust her knowledge and expertise. She is a very straight shooter and I value her medical advice.
Associates in Dermatology is one of the best Dermatology practices I’ve att need. I highly recommend them to everyone. I’ve been attending for 12 years now. The staff are efficient, pleasant, very cordial and welcoming. Dr. Haas is a great doctor, knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, kind expert at her profession! I make sure I have annual checkups because they are great and most importantly they keep My health in check!
Associates in Dermatology is professional and outstanding. It was recommended to me by a work colleague and he was correct.I am very grateful to Dr. Andrea Haas for her medical expertise. The staff and assistants are courteous which also helps along with easy parking for a phone call to enter the office.
Associates in Dermatology are fortunate to have a wonderful Doctor named Dr Andree Haas. She is VERY COMPASSIONATE & CONCERNED with a Very pleasant staff that assists her.
Dr. Anita Grassi, her partner Dr. Haas, and all of their colleagues are not only highly professional and deeply knowledgeable, but also genuinely personable and caring. Absolutely the best care.
Dr. Haas is a highly skilled clinician and excellent communicator. My husband and I both been seeing her for years and are very happy with the care we receive.
Dr. Haas is an amazing dermatologist. She has an eye for picking the problem areas that need to be addressed. I truly have to say she saved my life a couple times. ❤️
I've been a patient here for a long time. I've always felt that the front desk staff weren't very warm and quite terse, but I don't need them to be my friends, so whatever. But today was different. I had an appointment for 9:30, and was called at 9:15 (while I was almost there) to scold me because I was late. I assured them my appointment was for 9:30 (I even have a text confirmation with that time). When I arrived I stood at the door for 5 minutes waving at people to get their attention (that's was I was told to do). They simply glared at me and didn't come to the door. I ended up having to call them, while looking at them while they answered, in order for them to get me at the door (it's locked for covid). I was taken into a room, and then moved from room to room, until 10:15am when I was tired of waiting. I went to the receptionist and said I needed to leave because I couldn't wait anymore. They acted like it was my fault. I asked to reschedule and they said "don't worry, you won't be charged the $50 late cancellation fee." I mean, that was the last straw.. I like Dr. Grassi, but I'm sure there are other dermatologists out there. I'm kind of done with being treated like I've inconvenience them.
I’ve been a patient of Dr.Grassi for many years.
I found Dr. Andre Haas by referral of a dear friend who RAVED about her supreme expertise, bedside manner and high level professionalism. The circle broadens, now a patient of Dr. Haas for several years- I’ve done the same, passing the good word along. She rises above other Boston local Dermatology specialists(?) that I’ve personally found to be more cosmetic/beautification directed, instead of masters of skin ailments and afflictions requiring more extensive medical savoir faire.Dr. Haas is an outstanding provider on all counts. Clearly her kindness and care carries over to her staff— all very lovely, attentive and on the ball.Associates in Dermatology is a 5 star group.I feel blessed I found them!
I have always been very impressed with the excellent, professional care which I have received from Dr. Haas and her staff.I highly recommend them for all of your dermatology care.
Kept waiting outside for 1/2 hour past the time of my appointment without any notification as to why. Then told that I'd been seen in 10-15 minutes which turned in to 20minutes. Finally seen after one hour with a perfunctory apology. Once seen the care was quite professional.
I had a very effective and safe annual checkup. The rooms are carefully cleaned and the service attitude is excellent. Safety procedures were spot on. Dr Haas is excellent - efficient, highly competent, and a good listener.
Best Dermatology office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Haas knows her stuff, and her staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This is the only place I trust for dermatological issues.
My family and I have been going to this practice and seeing Dr. Haas for years. She is an expert in her field and I have always felt like I was in good hands with her. She runs on time, and the front desk staff are efficient and friendly as well.
I had an urgent dermatology issue that needed to be addressed and Associates in Dermatology was able to fit me into their schedule very quickly. Everyone who works there is kind, helpful, and made me feel welcomed. The office runs efficiently and there are excellent COVID safety measures in place.
