About Margaret Schwarz
Margaret C. “Peggy” Schwarz, MD, MBA is a Board‐Certified Dermatologist who joined APDerm in November 2020. Specializing in general dermatology, Dr. Schwarz treats several skin conditions ranging from acne, rosacea, eczema, pigmentation concerns, rashes, and overall skin checks.
Dr. Schwarz completed her dermatology residency at Boston University in Massachusetts and her medical internship at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she received her medical, masters, and undergraduate degrees from The Pennsylvania State University.
Playing an active role in her professional and educational settings, Dr. Schwarz has held many speaking engagements, participated in several research initiatives, and was the recipient of sought out grants, one of which sent her overseas to participate in the European Academy of Dermatology located in Madrid, Spain.
With a patient‐centered focus, Dr. Schwarz applies her knowledge and extensive educational background to her work at APDerm®. She is committed to helping patients feel and look their best while achieving their skincare goals. Her clinical interests include medical, cosmetic, and surgical excisions. She carefully considers each patient’s concerns and personal preferences to provide a patient-centered experience.
