About Nicholas Leonard
Dr. Nicholas Leonard is a board-certified dermatologist who joins the Dermatology Associates group as of October 2025, seeing patients in Foxboro, Franklin, and Norwood.
A native of Mansfield, Massachusetts, Dr. Leonard graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Nu honor societies. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he received numerous honors, including the Chancellor’s Award and membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his intern year at Cambridge Health Alliance before returning to the University of Massachusetts for his dermatology residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Leonard has authored numerous publications and presentations and he remains dedicated to a career of lifelong learning, staying at the forefront of dermatologic care.
Dr. Leonard provides comprehensive care across a wide range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is committed to delivering evidence-based care guided by each patient’s needs, goals and preferences. By listening closely and partnering with his patients, he develops personalized treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Leonard enjoys golfing, hiking, swimming, and cheering on Boston sports teams. He loves spending time at Cape Cod and Rhode Island beaches and exploring new restaurants with his wife and son, family and friends.
