About Holly Gennaro

Holly Gennaro, MD, grew up locally in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for undergraduate studies in neuroscience where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2022 from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and was inducted into the AOA Honor Society. During medical training, she completed a clinical research fellowship through Massachusetts General Hospital where her research on pediatric pigmented lesions and skin cancers was awarded and internationally recognized.

After medical school, Dr. Gennaro completed her dermatology residency at UMass Memorial Healthcare and served as a Chief Resident. Throughout her training, she has remained active in mentorship and research, publishing in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Her clinical interests are focused on general medical and pediatric dermatology, diagnosing and treating skin cancers, and helping patients feel confident in their skin. She practices a shared-decision making approach with patients, using evidence-based medicine and patient preferences to tailor individualized care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cuddling up with her Siamese cat, Lulu. She is excited to help patients in the community she grew up in at our Westford and Concord locations.
